I was born in 1976 in the city of Zagreb , Croatia . I finished primary school in Paris after which I enrolled in applied arts and design highschool in Zagreb where I acquired the title of Metal designer at Metal arts section. Since 1995 to this day I have continued developing my skills as a goldsmith, metal designer and restorator of metal objects. I worked several years in goldsmithing workshops "Križek" and "Albit" where I expanded my knowledge of goldsmithing techniques connected to manufacturing different types of jewelry.

I have studied and worked on metal restoration in several museums in Zagreb and Dubrovnik where I had the opportunity to work on many objects from our cultural heritage. Since 1999 I'm permanently employed in the Museum of archaeology in Zagreb as a restorator and conservator of archaeological material, mainly metal (bronze and iron). Because of the demands of this trade and limited possibilities for further studies in Croatia, I attended several courses in European institutes for conservation and restoration - 6 months in Romisch-Germanisches-Zentral-Muzeum (Mainz, Germany) and 4 months in "Institute for national heritage" (INP, in Saint Denis, France), in "Center for research and restoration of French museums" (C2RMF, in Louvre and Versailles). At the moment I'm preparing for a three month course at the Institute IRRAP in Compiegne ( France ). Since 2002 I am a member of Croatian applied arts and design section (ULUPUH) and as such I participated on a joint exhibition called "Before and after" where I presented my work in restoration and conservation of archaeological material. 'Til this day I have worked on over 1000 different objects form the museum collection and archaeological sites.

For the future I plan to continue developing my trades and skills by unifying restoration and goldsmithing into a single trade I will call. It might sound a bit complicated but I think I have found the right way to do it. Also I hope I managed to represent that idea trough my picture galleries. And if you wonder what will happen next, stick around. I think you will find it interesting.

The answer to why "ace-of-diamonds" - simply put, this is a symbol that brings together my occupation, crafts, logo, signature and one of my most favorite pastimes - Playing cards. Among other things I also love movies, music, nature and water sports (scuba and sailing).
