I was born in Zagreb in 1976. I attended elementary school in Paris, after which I enrolled into School of Arts, Crafts and Design in Zagreb. I graduated in 1995. majoring in Metal and obtained the vocation of Metal designer. Since 1995. I continuously work on developing my metal restoration skills, goldsmithry and jewelry making.

After graduating, in 1995. and 1996., I volunteered at the Museum of Arts and Crafts, where I have learned how to restore metal items and gained basic knowledge for further personal development. From 1996. till the end of 1998. I have worked in jewelry Križek and Albit, where I had learned the majority of goldsmithing techniques. Since 1999., I have been permanently employed by the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb, working on restoration and conservation of archaeological material.

Out of desire to further develop my skills and obtain new knowledge of restoration and conservation of archaeological metal, I was given the opportunity by the Archaeological Museum in 2000. and 2001. to specialize for 6 months in one of the most popular and best institutes for conservation and restoration of archaeological material, Römisch-Germanische Zentralmuseum in Mainz, Germany. I specialized in the field of conservation and restoration of iron, and gained basic knowledge of galvanoplastic for making copies. To learn galvanoplastics, I had to learn goldsmithing techniques which were particularly appealing to me because I am very interested in that field of work.

In 2003. and 2004., I had the opportunity to gain further experience and knowledge in conservation and restoration of metal in France where I visited workshops in several institutes: C2RMF - Centre de recherches de restauration des musées de France with the Louvre Museum, workshops in the castle Versailles and the Institute for National Heritage which is a part of the Faculty for restoration and conservation. In addition to these professional educations, I personally and continuously develop my goldsmithing craft.

In the summer of 2004., I learned and studied on my own the metal finishing technique using electroplating. Thrilled by the results, I had the desire to continue my education and broaden my knowledge in that field. Till 2008. with some consultations and personal ideas I developed certain methods. In 2008., regardless of the great results I was achieving, I wanted to further improve my knowledge and techniques. I contacted two Institutes in Paris that work in the field of protection and decoration of metal using electroplating, Atelier SARL Texier i Atelier Le Dantec and they accepted me for an internship. In the future I plan to continuously educate myself and be up to date with the developments in the field.

In 15 years of my experience, I worked on more than 2500 archaeological, historical and modern items, for my employer and other institutes as well as private collections.
